The death of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger at the age of 100
The American diplomatic giant, former Foreign Minister Henry Kissinger, died a hundred years on Wednesday, his organization announced.
The Consulting Corporation said in a statement that Kissinger, who was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the covenant of Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford and played a pivotal diplomatic role during the Cold War “died today (Thursday) at his home in the state of Connecticut.”
Csangifi was born in southern Germany in 1923, when his father was a teacher, and his family provided Nazi Germany, and came to the United States in 1938, according to his advisory organization.
She added: “After he became an American citizen in 1943, he served in the eighty -fourth army division from 1943 to 1946, and he obtained the bronze star for his worthwhile service, and he also joined the anti -intelligence agent in Germany, until 1959.”
Kissinger launched the wheel of rapprochement between Washington and both Moscow and Beijing in the 1970s, and he won in 1973, in appreciation of his peaceful efforts during the Vietnam War, the Nobel Peace Prize equally with Vietnamese Lee Doc Tho.
Until his death, Kissinger remained active on the international political scene and his age did not come to travel and meet many world leaders, the last of whom was Chinese President Xi Jinping, who met him in July in China.
